Steam motive power largely dominates except in the far north. Scottish Railways in the 1960s will appeal to railway enthusiasts, modllers and those interested in local history. Virtually all of the photographs, a mixture of black & white and color, have never previously been published and all were taken by the author, his father, and their friend Alan Maund.
