It went through many changes before I settled on the 6 Safely Working Skills officially published in 2014: Recognize - Prepare - Inspect - Control - Operate - Guard.Those descriptors have worked well over the years. However, the label "Operate" has always been a little awkward. I have replaced "Operate" with "Engage."
