Reseña del libro

Each violin has its very own soul - an inner spirit that makes it sound happy, sad or melancholic, according to the tune it is playing. Violins, though, have to be played at least once every 57 years or otherwise they will have reached their “expiry date”. This is the story of three little musical spirits - Stradivarius, Guarnerius and Amati - whose time is fast running out and who in two days’ time will disappear for ever. There is only one man who can save them, the violinist Niccolò Paganini, but he is in Greenland and the only way to bring him back in time is by using magic. One day Victoria, the granddaughter of the famous opera singer Helena Angel’s Voice, meets inquisitive little Stradivarius in the park when he is playing a sweet melody in front of the statue of the renowned violinist. On hearing of the violins’ dilemma, Victoria and her grandmother decide to help them with the aid of another mysterious being and the owner of a museum. They demonstrate that when you work as a team no enterprise is too difficult. Helena had a marvellous voice, but was so shy that when she came out onto stage she could hardly sing. In the end, someone threw a tomato at her and she never performed again. Victoria, her grandmother and the three spirits will have to overcome all their fears and work together as a team if they want to prevent fate from taking its course.
