Balduino was the king of Belgium with all of its consequences, including some extremely adverse situations. He assumed his destiny as a profession, where he discovered an immense area where he could be useful to his compatriots—aware of their needs, offering them support and solidarity in the trials of life, encouraging their triumphs, and fostering wellness for all.
