This collection contains papers held at a symposium concerning the present state of Celtic studies, particularly in Germany. Various aspects of Celtic literatures and languages are discussed, with a number of articles on language contact. The period covered ranges from 500 BC to the present. Of particular note is the substantial contribution to the Proceedings from the large number of younger scholars present.
